‘Magpies and peas’ at the Newcastle disability awareness quiz

Businesses from allover the North East of England will battle it out at Employers' Forum onDisability's (EFD) MegaQuiz at Newcastle Football Club, St James' Park on Thursday27 March.

This informalnetworking event will be hosted in partnership with the Percy Hedley Foundation,a local charity based in Newcastle upon Tyne that provides a range of servicesto children and adults with cerebral palsy and communication difficulties.

The quiz is achance to network with other organisations, learn from disability experts in arelaxed environment and find out more about the support available from EFD andthe Percy Hedley Foundation. This is a free event open to all local businesses inNewcastle and the North East of England, and is complete with refreshments anda buffet supper.

Niccola Swan,deputy chief executive of EFD says: "This promises to be a fun night out and anexcellent opportunity for local organisations to learn how disability affectsevery aspect of their business, be it people, markets, competitors, suppliers,communities and key stakeholders.

"Looking ahead wehope that the event will engage our members, and potential new members, in the NorthEast area of England so that we can offer further events and networkingopportunities."

The Employers'Forum on Disability MegaQuiz takes place on Thursday 27 March, Newcastle UnitedFootball Club, St James Park from 6:00pm. The event includes full refreshmentsand buffet supper and is free of charge.
