Diane Sider
Freelance Producer & Trainer
I spent many years working in independent TV production as a production manager, then freelance producer, on a variety of studio and documentary productions. I also worked at PACT (Producers' Alliance for Cinema and Television) initially as Training Officer, then Deputy Chief Executive, where I contributed to several Government reviews.
I am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and deliver training in business skills for freelancers, and disability equality training.
My other current roles include producing The School of Sound workshops and international series of masterclasses, which explore the creative art of sound with image, plus being an assessor for the UK Film Council's First Light children's film fund.
I have had Multiple Sclerosis for about 30 years and it now affects my walking. With regular practice of yoga and pilates, and the aid of a stick or my eco-friendly scooter, I can get around fairly well.
