People receiving Access to Work benefits should continue to send their claims through the usual channels despite the Royal Mail strikes, Jobcentre Plus has advised.

The organisation noted that while industrial action on October 22nd and 23rd could lead to such payments being affected, individuals will still get money.

It stated: "We will be making payments for Travel to Work, Travel in Work and Support Worker Assistance based on previous claims submitted during the month of September."
