DWP launches The Work Programme - Your Thoughts for businesses
20th July 2010

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a consultation for organisations that provide services to help unemployed people, including those with disabilities, back into work.
Called The Work Programme - Your Thoughts, the initiative - which will be running for a limited time only - is asking companes to log their comments and opinions regarding a number of questions, such as the payment model and capital raising.
Other topics to be covered include customers, efficiencies and implementation, with summaries to be published after the consultation period - running from July 19th to the 30th and August 2nd to the 13th - comes to an end.
Organisations can access the portal through the DWP website, although it should be noted that anonymous comments will not be accepted.
Regarding The Work Programme, minister for employment Chris Grayling recently said: "[It] will provide a coherent package of support for people out of work, regardless of the barriers they face or the benefits they claim."
