Microlink furthers its commitment to disability equality

Microlink PC hasbecome the latest organisation to join the Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD)gold group.

One of the oldest established UK computer companies, Microlink PC providestechnology solutions and training for people with disabilities in universitiesand in the work place. Microlink PC recently joined EFD as a gold member andimmediately became a valued partner in EFD's mission to promote the economicand social inclusion of disabled people.

The support from the gold group is vital for EFD in sustaining its reputationas an organisation that inspires and challenges employers, while helpingbusiness forge productive relationships with disabled individuals, opinionformers, government and the wider community.

Dr Nassier Siabi, managing director for Microlink PC, said: "Microlink PC isextremely proud and honoured to join such a distinguished group oforganisations who have come together and committed to improving the lives of somany disadvantaged people in the society.

"It gives us great pleasure and pride toknow that Microlink PC have been instrumental in raising the standards of careto this segment of the population for the past 15 years and continually striveto improve the lives of disabled people throughout the educational, public andprivate sector."

We are also privileged to be working andsupporting major charitable organisations, both financially and in advisorycapacity, with the aim of giving them operational stability so that they candeliver a much needed support to the disabled people in the community.

Microlink PC's,Managing Director, Dr Nassier Siabi has also joined EFD's President's Group,launched in 2007 by EFD's President, John Varley, group chief executiveBarclays plc. The President's Group is the only senior leadership body focusedon repositioning disabled people as employees, customers and valuedstakeholders and is made up of leading figures from the business community andfrom the public sector.

Susan Scott-Parker,chief executive of EFD said: "Microlink PC clearly take disability equalityseriously at the highest level.
