Line manager guide gets stylish makeover

18th May 2007

Employer's forum on disability now has available the new updated ‘Line manager guide'. An essential tool for the modern workplace, the new stylish design will have a wider appeal amongst businesses and public sector organisations.

Building on the success of the previous ‘Line manager guide' which sold 70,000 copies, the new updated version still contains all the valuable information which made the previous incarnation so popular. With its broadened appeal, the guide will contribute towards better economic and social inclusion for employees and customers with disabilities.

Susan Scott-Parker, Chief Executive of Employers' Forum on Disability, said: "Line managers have a responsibility to make sure disabled colleagues are treated fairly and have the same opportunities as non-disabled employees. This resource will ensure line managers have the confidence to work effectively with their disabled colleagues."
