EFD presents Disability Standard results to House of Commons
19th November 2007
Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD) has presented the results of the Employers' Forum Disability Standard 2007 at the House of Commons.
Niccola Swan, EFD Deputy Chief Executive and Catherine Grinyer, EFD head of communications and marketing, gave a half-hour briefing to the All Party Parliamentary Group on Disability.
Catherine Grinyer introduced the results from the 2007 Disability Standard by saying they are complex but she presented a snapshot of the overall performance.
Employers are making good progress but the overall performance is still far too low - the average benchmark score was 57%, very short of disability confidence at 100%.
Scores ranged from 98% (Lloyds TSB) to 9%. Although 9% is clearly very poor EFD are delighted that this employer took part, showing they are at least committed to changing the way they run the business and getting it right.
