New associates for EFD

Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD) is delighted to announce two new associates.

Eleanor Williams

Eleanor Williams is a solicitor with Capital Law Commercial LLP and works in the employment law team. Eleanor has developed a particular niche in disability discrimination law. She is a director of RADAR and is always seeking to use the Disability Discrimination Act to increase cooperation between employers and disabled employees.

Karen Flood is co-head of a group called First Step, which was set up in 2000 to assist learning disabled adults, particularly young adults. The group has worked with government and local authorities, and Karen herself has been involved with research for Forum publications such as How to get your money at the Post Office and the British Gas customer guide. She is co-chair of the National Forum of People with Learning Disabilities and sits on the Department of Health's Learning Disability Task Force.
