RADAR People of the Year Awards

RADAR People of the Year Awards

22nd July 2008

The RADAR People of the Year Awards are the largest and most prestigious of their kind in Europe, and provide an excellent opportunity to recognise the work of those who have made great contributions to the Human Rights and Inclusion of disabled people.

This year there are two Media Awards available, for Factual programming and for Fictional programming, which will be awarded to the television or radio programmes that have best reflected the lives or viewpoints of disabled people.

Please note that nominations for this category will be primarily sought from media organisations, and should be made in a DVD format with completed nomination form attached.

RADAR welcomes nominations from other sources, especially from RADAR members. Should you wish to discuss your nomination, please contact Aidan Hargitt, details provided below.

The nominations pack contains all the details of how to nominate a programme for these awards; completed nominations should be returned to Aidan Hargitt, the People of the Year Nominations coordinator, no later than the 8th of August.
