BBC Documentary in pre-production

Scarlet Television is making a documentary for BBC1 about the journey parents take when raising a disabled child. In the film, families will discuss the hurdles they encounter, the support available to current and expectant parents of disabled children, and the inspiration and despair they may have experienced whilst caring for their child.

Producers are keen to hear families' personal stories, and would like to speak to parents who might be prepared to share their views and experiences.  They say they want to throw more light on this very important subject and to get people talking about it.
