Forums in England
EFD is currently establishing regional forums in the West Midlands, Yorkshire & Humberside and Newcastle & Teesside in response to member demand.
Running at least one event a year, these events are hosted by members at their offices or sponsored by members in high profile venues and provide up-to-date information on a specific theme, determined by member feedback from previous events. While enabling members to network and share best practice, they also highlight how to make the best use of the support EFD membership provides. Attendees' contact details are shared afterwards to encourage members to remain in contact with one another and forge working relationships between events. Members receive an invitation with event details nearer to the time of each event.
If you would like to host or sponsor a regional forum event, please contact the training & events team. We will also consider working with other businesses, service providers and regional development agencies in promoting Disability Confidence among local employers if there's demand and a local organisation willing to work in partnership. Please get in touch if this of interest at events@staging.efd.org.uk
