Regional event: EFD City Forum

This is a past event

7th December 2011, 1:00pm - 4:00pm, Swindon

We are holding the second event in our series of ‘City Forums' on the afternoon of 7 December.

Recognising the UK wide geographic spread of many of our members, ‘City Forums' aim to give you the opportunity to meet our disability consultants in a local location. ‘EFD Swindon Forum', is taking place at the Swindon office of WHSmiths.

Further 'City Forums' will be taking place in 2012 and details of these will be available on the website as they are confirmed.

Why attend?

In addition to meeting with our disability consultants there will be a chance, over a light sandwich lunch, to network with representatives from other EFD members.

We would like to encourage you to actively participate in developing the content for this event, as we are keen for it to focus on those disability matters that are of greatest importance to you and your work. In addition there will be the opportunity to find out more about:

  • Disability Standard - practical ways in which your organisation can get value from this management tool and benchmark.
  • Disability Directions - explanation of this advice service plus scenario discussions
  • Other member benefits, such as our expertise on recruiting disabled staff

If there is something you would like to talk about please do tell us, we're keen to ensure this event works for everyone.

Who should attend?

Representatives of EFD members, particularly those located in the south and south-west. We are able to tailor the event content to suit individuals in all types of roles.

'EFD Swindon Forum' is free and open to all members.

Please use the booking form to register your attendance.

Contact Stuart Moore at stuart.moore@efd.org.uk or on 020 7403 3020 to tell us what you would like to hear about.

Stuart will also be able to take details of any access or dietary requirements.
