Networking and learning: Non-visible disabilities
11th February 2010, 9:00am - 11:00am, Central London
EFD Roundtables are interactive forums, chaired by experts, that are designed to share ideas and solutions to particular problems. Chaired by our associate Kate Nash, this Roundtable will give delegates a chance to network in a small group and discuss issues such as:
- Why don't people with non-visible disabilities tell their employer about them?
- What do employers need to know about non-visible disabilities?
Why attend?
There will also be a legal update from EFD's Legal director, Bela Gor, on the latest legal developments and cases on non-visible disabilities.
Additionally this is an opportunity for members and non-members to learn more about EFD, meet the team and find out how we can help with your work.
At these events we want you to bring your own queries and questions and share them with other delegates. Our experience shows that where you might be trying to tackle something for the first time in your organisation, other members will have already overcome the problem or EFD will be able to help.
Attendance at this event will also mean that you will receive a free copy of EFD's brand new publication Non-visible disabilities - Line manager guide.
