Interactive phone-in: FREE Radio style disability discussion forum

When does a reasonable adjustment become unreasonable?

Do you have to treat disabled people more favourably?

These are the type of questions we will be exploring during the latest EFD Live; a series of interactive, radio style phone-ins.  We want to hear from you and to share the opinions and experiences of the members with each other, so this event is designed to give you a forum to learn and contribute. 

Bringing together Employers' Forum on Disability members and EFD experts, we will use telephone tutorial technology to discuss the latest disability news affecting your organisation.

Why attend?

Call, email or text in to EFD Live Phone-in, from your desk and share your views and experiences on topics such as:

  • Reasonable/unreasonable adjustments,
  • Managing performance and attendance,
  • Disability and diversity.

However, as this event will be completely driven by participant input, it is your opportunity to introduce the topics most relevant to you and your organisation.  We want to hear from you, our members, so ensure your voice is heard and call, email or text us with your questions, before or during the event.

Participants will be encouraged to share good practice examples and their experiences of disability in the workplace. We will also be discussing the most popular queries asked of EFD's Disability Directions advice service and learning of the suggested solutions.

Easy to-follow instructions on how to join the event and communicate directly with the presenter, EFD Associate and Freeney Williams Director, Rick Williams, will be sent prior to the event. Participants will also be given the opportunity to email or text questions prior to the event.

We will be circulating the name of the organisations participating, so that everyone knows who is listening, but callers can choose to remain anonymous, if they wish.
