The CBI estimates that absence from work cost the UK economy £13.2 billion last year, as the average employee took almost seven days sick leave.
The aim of this Telephone Tutorial is to provide you with practical information on managing attendance and disability.
It will focus on the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and will give best practice guidance on managing and recording sickness absence as well as making reasonable adjustments relating to sickness absence.
The session will be led by Bela Gor, EFD's Head of legal policy.
