One in six people in the workforce experience mental ill health such as depression at any one time. It is estimated that UK businesses are losing £1,000 every year, per employee, due to mental ill health. Are you one of the many employers that still struggles to manage mental ill health or finds it a very difficult subject to approach?
This Telephone Tutorial will provide you with practical information on managing mental ill health in the workplace.
It will focus on what reasonable adjustments should be made in both the recruitment and retention of individuals who experience mental ill health during their working lives.
The session will be led by Caroline Gooding, EFD Associate, and joined by Kerry Smith, Disability Directions Manager.
