Policing plays an important role in protectingvulnerable groups and legislation allows a court to give an enhancedsentence for any offence motivated by hatred for specific categories,one of which is disability.
TheTelephone Tutorial will be chaired by Susan Scott-Parker, ChiefExecutive, Employers' Forum on Disability with input from Paul Giannasi, Police Superintendent (ACPO Hate Crime sub group) and Nadine Tilbury, Senior Policy Adviser, Crown Prosecution Service.
