Workshop: Valued in Public - employing people with learning disabilities

Are you a public sector employer who wants to employ more people with a learning disability? Do you have a recruiting manager who wants to employ someone with a learning disability, supported by an HR manager and job broker?
Why attend?
This event enables you to:
- Discuss, with other employers, the barriers and challenges faced by organisations when trying to attract, appoint and recruit people with a learning disability
- Learn from employers who have successfully appointed somebody with a learning disability and individuals who are in employment
- Return to work with some real proposals for change and devise actions for your HR manager, line manager and job broker.
Who should attend?
This is a public sector only event and in order to attend the event you must bring with you three representatives from your organisation. You must bring:
- An HR manager
- A recruiting line manager
- A job broker (we can help supply one if you do not already use one).
