Networking and learning: Introduction to disability
13th February 2008, 8:30am - 10:30am, London
Roundtables are interactive sessions that are a forum for the sharing of ideas and solutions to particular problems. Chaired by our associates, they enable delegates to network within a small group. They are an opportunity for members and non-members to learn more about EFD, meet the team and find out how we can help with your work.
At these events we want you to bring your own queries and questions and share them with other delegates. Our experience shows that where you might be trying to tackle something for the first time in your organisation, other members will have already overcome the problem or EFD will be able to help.
This Roundtable will be chaired by Kate Nash, chief executive, Kate Nash Associates
Why attend?
This Roundtable will:
- Introduce you to the field of disability and to the key issues you need to consider to develop your disability confidence
- Cover the basics of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA)
- Help you to take advantage of the products and services that EFD membership offers you
- Allow you to network with other members and have your queries answered in a relaxed environment.
