New Disability Standard launched

Employers' Forum on Disability (EFD) has launched the new Disability Standard. The Disability Standard is an online management tool and benchmark which enables business to measure and improve on performance for disabled customers, clients or service users, employees and stakeholders.

We have spent over a year redeveloping the Disability Standard to incorporate feedback from previous participants and our disabled associates. The new Disability Standard has been successfully piloted by 19 organisations from across the private and public sector. The evaluation process will run until June 2012, with the Disability Standard benchmark and awards taking place in late 2012.

All EFD members can access the Disability Standard self assessment tool free as part of the EFD membership package.

EFD awards: Benchmarking performance

If members want to benchmark performance, and enter for the awards, they will have to complete an EFD evaluation.  With this evaluation, they will receive a personalised report and will be eligible for automatic entry into the benchmark and awards.

• All members will be able to book and pay for an EFD evaluation at a time convenient for them and their organisation’s financial cycle. 
  
• All gold partners will have access to an enhanced EFD evaluation package
